Welcome to superhero.pw

superhero.pw is a creative workspace built for comic series, episodic scripts, and long-form storytelling. From character bibles to page layouts, everything lives in one place.

Creating Your Account

Visit app.superhero.pw and sign up with your email.
Verify your email address through the confirmation message.
You’ll land on the Series Dashboard — your home base.

Your First Series

A Series is the top-level container for your story. Think of it like a comic book run or a TV show.

The Page Editor

The Page Editor is the heart of superhero.pw. It’s a focused writing environment designed for dialogue-heavy creative workflows.

Opening a Page

Navigate to a project inside your series
Click on any page in the page list, or create a new one
The editor opens in full-width mode for maximum writing space

Switch between three modes using the view mode toggle at the top of the editor:

Character Library

The Character Library is where you manage all the characters in your series. Access it from within a series via the Characters tab, or navigate directly to the library page.

Creating a Character

Open a series and go to the Characters tab, or navigate to the full Character Library
Click New Character (or Add Character from the tab view)
Fill in:
- Name — The character’s display name
- Role — Choose from Protagonist, Antagonist, Supporting, or Minor
- Description — Optional backstory or overview
Click Create Character

Each character is assigned a color accent based on their role for quick visual scanning:

Timeline & Milestones

Series Timeline

The Timeline page provides a vertical, chronological view of your project’s story events and production milestones. It’s designed to give you a bird’s-eye view of what’s happening and when.

Accessing the Timeline

Navigate to Timeline from the sidebar or the Dashboard quick stats.

Timeline Items

Items on the timeline are drawn from two sources:

Tasks with due dates — Any task you’ve created with a due date appears on the timeline
Project milestones — Start and due dates on projects automatically create timeline entries

Event Types

Each timeline item is categorized by type, displayed with a color-coded icon:

Series Analytics

The Analytics Dashboard gives you a data-driven view of your project’s health and balance. It helps you spot imbalances, maintain momentum, and stay on track.

Accessing Analytics

From the sidebar: click Analytics
From the Dashboard: click the Analytics quick stat card
From a series: click the Analytics tab

Writing Velocity

The Writing Velocity chart shows a 30-day trend of your daily output (measured in estimated words based on page updates). This helps you:

Notes & Scraps

The Notes page is your creative sandbox — a flexible space for ideas that don’t yet belong to a specific page or project.

Accessing Notes

From the sidebar: click Notes
From a series detail page: click the Notes tab for series-level notes

Creating a Note

Click New Note in the top right
Optionally link the note to a series (select from the dropdown)
Write your content — Markdown is fully supported
Click Create Note

Unlinked notes are labeled “Unlinked” and work as general scraps.

Creating a Series

From the Dashboard, click Create New Series. Provide:

Key — A short identifier (e.g., “obsidian-gate”)
Description — Optional overview text

You can edit the description at any time by clicking it on the series detail page.

Palette Designer

Palette Designer

The Palette Designer is a color management tool built for comic and series production. Generate palettes from a single seed color, extract colors from reference images, check contrast ratios, and apply palettes to your series.

Accessing the Palette Designer

From the sidebar: click Palette
From a series detail: click the Palette tab

Designer Tab

The main designer view lets you generate palettes from a seed color:

Pick a seed color using the color picker or enter a hex value directly
Choose a color theory — Select from multiple harmony types:
- Complement
- Analogous
- Triadic
- Split-Complement
- Tetradic
- Monochromatic
The Generated Palette preview shows the full color set with role labels (primary, secondary, tertiary, etc.)
Toggle Tints & Shades to see the full tonal range of your seed color
Color Harmonies expandable section shows all harmony variations with contrast ratios

Saving a Palette

Enter a name in the Palette name field
Click Save to add it to your saved palettes

Series Dashboard

The Dashboard is your landing page after logging in. It provides a high-level view of your entire workspace.

Quick Stats

Four stat cards at the top give you an instant overview:

Card	What it shows
Series	Total number of series you belong to
Characters	Total characters across all series
Open Tasks	Count of tasks not marked as done
Analytics	Quick link to the Analytics page

Click any card to navigate to the relevant section.

Settings & Billing

Settings

The Settings page is accessible from the sidebar. It has three main sections:

Account

View and update your account information:

Name — Your display name
Email — Registered email (cannot be changed here)
Username — Update your username
Password — Change your password

Group Management

Groups allow teams to collaborate on series together. The Group Management section lets you:

View your groups — See all groups you belong to
Create a group — Set up a new team workspace
Manage members — Invite users, assign roles, and remove members
Group settings — Update group name and configuration

Inviting Members

Open a group
Click Add User
Enter the invitee’s email address
They’ll receive an invitation to join the group

Accepting an Invitation

If someone invites you, you’ll receive a link like /accept-invite?token=.... Click the link to accept and join the group.
